The aim of this module is to enable the delegates to perform rescue operations, in a WTG hub, spinner and inside the blade by using industry standard rescue equipment, methods and techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at Height.

Syllabus:

1. Assess and select a rescue strategy inside a hub, spinner and blade
2. Risk assessment for rescue in an enclosed space
3. Selection of anchor points and other rescue equipment for rescue
4. Fit harness and other PPE onto a casualty
5. Perform rescue operations using a stretcher and spinal board
6. Manoeuvre, lifting and lowering of a casualty
7. Communication for rescue
8. Casualty management
